Learn how the Interactive Automation project is paving new ground in data mining research!

  • Interactive Automation

Our goal is to provide a computational framework for exploring and facilitating analysis of large-scale data sets through integrating cutting-edge visual analytics and data mining.
  • Our Products

Our findings in privacy enhancements for knowledge discovery, higher-order clustering methods, and sparse sampling of large graphs have advanced the state of the art in these important subfields of data mining.
  • Core Research Activities

We've established a basic theoretical framework that described the usage of cognitive models in software that supports “Sensemaking” tasks in an Interactive Analytics System
  • Meet the Team

With over half a dozen people on the team, ranging from Ph.D. professors to under- graduate students, there's a ton of talent to found.

The Interactive Automation project is about making the "untenable quantities" of information at the law enforcement community's disposal not only accessable, but also efficient and distributed. Our team is developing a framework to bring Big Data and meaningful analytics to law enforcement users in large, distributed data environments. Our goal is to prove an authoritative, accurate, anonymous, an open set of ground truth data to the law enforcement domain.
