Abstract:
I will speak about two projects done over the last five years that demonstrate the need for proactive and realistic economic impact analyses as part of overall risk analyses. One study considered how to better understand the economic impact of multiple hazard events, and the second examined lifecycle cost analysis at nuclear weapons-waste management facilities.
