DIMACS/DyDAn Multidisciplinary Seminar Series, 2008-2009

This series presents talks aimed at the wide variety of multidisciplinary interests of the DIMACS/DyDAn community. Themes include but are not limited to:

mathematical sciences methods/problems in homeland security
mathematical and computational epidemiology
information processing in biology
data analysis and data mining
privacy/security
machine learning and its applications
applications of discrete mathematics/theoretical computer science to the social and behavioral sciences

Talks will be given by members of the DIMACS/DyDAn community and by outside speakers. Recommendations for speakers (and offers to speak) should be directed to James Abello (abello@dimacs.rutgers.edu).

The seminar will meet Mondays at noon in the CoRE Bldg, Room 431, Rutgers University, Busch Campus, Piscataway, NJ
